Cy3 DBCO refers to a bioconjugate composed of Cy3, a cyanine dye, and DBCO (Dibenzocyclooctyne), a functional group known for its reactivity in copper-free click chemistry. Cy3 is a fluorescent dye belonging to the cyanine dye family. It is commonly used as a fluorophore in bioimaging and fluorescence-based applications. Cy3 typically emits light in the green to yellow-orange range, making it suitable for various imaging experiments. DBCO is a reactive group known for its high efficiency in copper-free click chemistry, particularly in copper-free azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) reactions.
