Description

Gold Nanoshells, amine can be used for photothermal therapy. Gold nanoshells are known for their photothermal properties, wherein they efficiently convert near-infrared (NIR) light into heat. Functionalizing gold nanoshells with amine groups allows for their selective targeting to cancer cells or tumors. Upon NIR irradiation, the accumulated nanoshells generate localized heat, leading to thermal ablation of cancer cells or tumor tissues while sparing surrounding healthy tissues. This approach, known as photothermal therapy, holds promise for cancer treatment.
