Green-Fluorescent Sulfonic-Functionalized Graphene Quantum Dots are a type of carbon-based nanomaterial. Graphene Quantum Dots (GQDs) possess unique electronic, optical, and chemical properties due to their quantum confinement effect and edge effects. GQDs have attracted significant interest for various applications in biomedicine, optoelectronics, sensors, and catalysis due to their excellent photoluminescence, biocompatibility, and chemical versatility. Sulfonic functional groups (-SO3H) are introduced onto the surface of the GQDs.
