Description

SMPH Crosslinker is a heterobifunctional crosslinker containing a maleimide and NHS ester group. The maleimide is able to react with thiol groups between pH 6.5 to 7.5 to form thiolester bonds. NHS ester groups are reactive toward primary amines. SMPH Crosslinker is commonly used to link therapeutic antibodies or peptides to various payloads such as toxins or radionuclides in the field of drug development. This conjugation enables targeted drug delivery to specific cells or tissues, increasing drug efficacy and minimizing off-target side effects.
