Description

DOPC/CHOL/mPEG-DSPE Liposomes labeled with Marina Blue-DHPE refer to liposomes primarily composed of 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (DOPC), cholesterol (CHOL), and methoxy(polyethylene glycol)-2000-distearoylphosphatidylethanolamine (mPEG-DSPE), with a fraction of lipids labeled with Marina Blue-conjugated 1,2-dihexadecanoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine (Marina Blue-DHPE). Marina Blue-DHPE is a fluorescent lipid probe containing a Marina Blue dye attached to a phosphoethanolamine lipid tail. It is used to label liposomes for visualization and tracking in biological systems. DOPC/CHOL/mPEG-DSPE liposomes labeled with Marina Blue-DHPE can be used for theranostic applications, combining therapeutic delivery with diagnostic imaging. The fluorescent labeling enables real-time monitoring of drug delivery and therapeutic efficacy in vivo.
