Description

BDP FL DBCO is a compound consisting of BDP FL (Boron Dipyrromethene Fluorescein) dye conjugated with DBCO (Dibenzylcyclooctyne) functional group. BDP FL is a fluorescent dye belonging to the class of boron dipyrromethene (BODIPY) dyes. It exhibits strong fluorescence properties in the green to yellow-green spectral range. BDP FL is known for its excellent photostability, brightness, and high quantum yield, making it widely used in fluorescence imaging and labeling applications. BDP FL DBCO can be used for site-specific labeling of azide-functionalized biomolecules, such as proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, and lipids, in complex biological systems. The bioorthogonal reaction between DBCO and azide groups enables specific labeling without interfering with native biological processes.
