Description

TAMRA DBCO, 5-isomer is a derivative of tetramethylrhodamine (TMR, TAMRA) containing a cyclooctyne moiety (dibenzocyclooctyne, DBCO). TAMRA is a widely used red-emitting fluorescent dye that emits fluorescence when excited with light in the green to blue range. It is commonly employed in various biological and biochemical applications, including nucleic acid labeling, protein labeling, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), and cellular imaging. TAMRA DBCO, 5-isomer, can be conjugated to biomolecules containing azide groups, such as proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, or carbohydrates. This fluorescent labeling allows for the visualization and detection of the labeled biomolecules in biological samples using fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, or fluorescence imaging techniques.
