Description

Mitoxantrone Liposome refers to a formulation where the chemotherapy drug mitoxantrone is encapsulated within liposomes. Mitoxantrone is an anthracenedione antineoplastic agent. It works by intercalating with DNA and inhibiting topoisomerase II, an enzyme involved in DNA replication and repair. Mitoxantrone is used in the treatment of various cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, and breast cancer. It is also used in the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS) to reduce the frequency of relapses and delay disease progression.
