Description

8-Arm PEG-(6Arm-MAL, 2Arm-Biotin) refers to a polyethylene glycol (PEG) polymer with eight arms. In this configuration, six of the arms terminate with maleimide (Mal) groups, and the remaining two arms terminate with biotin. The maleimide groups allow for selective modification of proteins or enzymes through covalent linkage with thiol groups on their surface. The biotin tags can facilitate the purification of modified proteins using avidin or streptavidin affinity chromatography.
