Description

DBCO-PEG8-Triethoxysilane can be employed as contrast agents for biomedical imaging techniques, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or fluorescence imaging. Functionalizing the nanoparticles with imaging probes via click chemistry allows for the visualization and tracking of biological processes in vitro and in vivo. Additionally, it can be utilized in the development of biosensors for the detection of biomolecules or analytes in complex biological samples. By immobilizing specific recognition elements onto the surface, such as antibodies or aptamers, it is possible to create sensitive and selective biosensing platforms.
