Description

DBCO-PEG4-C3-sulfonic acid is a bifunctional linker molecule for bioconjugation reactions. DBCO is a strained alkyne functional group commonly used in bioconjugation chemistry. DBCO reacts selectively and rapidly with molecules containing strained alkenes, such as tetrazines, via strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions, forming stable triazole linkages. C3-sulfonic acid refers to a sulfonic acid functional group attached to a carbon atom three positions away from the linker molecule. Sulfonic acids are strong acids containing the sulfonic group (-SO3H). They are widely used in various chemical reactions, such as organic synthesis and surface modification.
