mPEG-Amine (mPEG-NH2, Amino-PEG, Methoxy poly(ethylene glycol)-Amine, Methoxy PEG Amine, Amino functionalized methoxyl polyethylene glycol) is a PEG reagent with a reactive primary amine group (NH2) attached to the terminal site, which can quickly react with activated carboxylic acids such as NHS esters to form a stable amide bond. mPEG-Amine is easy to undergo reductive amination reaction, so it can connect to other molecules by generating stable chemical bonds. It can be used to prepare polymer grafts and PEG coatings, prepare ligands with biologically active compounds, prepare polymer grafts and PEG coatings, and prepare PEG glycoprotein ligands.
