Description

N-(Boc-PEG1)-N-bis(PEG2-propargyl) is a molecule with multiple PEG chains functionalized with Boc protecting groups and propargyl groups. This compound can be utilized as a linker or spacer in the construction of bioconjugates, where it provides water solubility, biocompatibility, and the ability to conjugate various molecules or biomolecules through click chemistry reactions. In bioconjugation applications, the Boc protecting groups can be selectively removed under mild acidic conditions, exposing amine groups for further conjugation reactions. The propargyl groups can participate in click chemistry reactions, such as copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC), enabling the conjugation of other molecules or biomolecules containing azide functional groups.
