Description

NH2-PEG-OH (Amine-PEG-Hydroxyl, HO-PEG-NH2, HO-PEG-Amine) is a linear heterobifunctional PEG derivative with one hydroxyl and one amine group. It is a useful crosslinking reagent with a PEG spacer by sequentially reacting with amine and hydroxyl. It is also a useful monofunctional amine PEG reagent with a terminal hydroxyl group instead of methoxy as in mPEG-Amine. Hydroxyl terminated PEG has reported to have different immune responses such as antibody generation to methoxy-terminated PEG as in mPEG. Typically, it is offered as its HCl or TFA salt.
