Description

Amino-PEG10-acid refers to a molecule consisting of a polyethylene glycol (PEG) chain with ten ethylene glycol units (PEG10) and terminating with an amino group (-NH2) and a carboxylic acid group (-COOH) at each end. It can be immobilized onto surfaces of nanoparticles, microspheres, or biomaterials to introduce hydrophilicity, biocompatibility, and functional groups for further modification or bioconjugation. Modified surfaces can enhance stability, reduce nonspecific binding, and provide sites for attaching biomolecules or ligands.
