Description

Val-Cit-PAB-Exatecan refers to an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) where Exatecan is the cytotoxic payload linked to an antibody via a linker consisting of Valine (Val), Citrulline (Cit), and p-aminobenzyl carbamate (PAB). Val-Cit-PAB-Exatecan is designed to target cancer cells specifically by attaching to antigens present on their surface. Once the ADC binds to the cancer cell, it is internalized, and the linker (Val-Cit-PAB) facilitates the release of Exatecan inside the cell. This targeted delivery system aims to enhance the efficacy of Exatecan while reducing systemic toxicity, sparing healthy tissues from damage.
