Description

TCO-PEG4-TFP Ester is an amine-reactive labeling reagent used to modify proteins, antibodies, and other amine-containing biopolymers. TCO can form a covalent bond with tetrazines through a highly selective and fast reaction known as the inverse-electron-demand Diels-Alder (IEDDA) reaction. TFP (2,3,5,6-tetrafluorophenyl) ester is a reactive group used for the covalent modification of primary amines on biomolecules, such as lysine residues on proteins or amino groups on nucleic acids. TFP esters react specifically with primary amines under mild conditions, forming stable amide bonds.
