Description

3,4-Dibromo-Mal-PEG8-Azide is a PEG linker featuring a dibromo-maleimide linked to an azide group. The azide group offers a reactive handle for conjugation with alkyne-containing molecules via copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC), a popular click chemistry reaction. The dibromo-maleimide moiety can react specifically with thiol (-SH) groups, often found in cysteine residues of proteins.
