Methoxy-poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(D-lysine hydrochloride) (mPEG-b-PLL HCL) is a copolymer consisting of two distinct polymer blocks: a poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) block and a poly(D-lysine) (PDL) block with hydrochloride (HCl) counterions. It is often used as a carrier for therapeutic agents, including small molecules, proteins, and nucleic acids. This copolymer can also self-assemble into nanoparticles in aqueous solutions. These nanoparticles can encapsulate drugs or other bioactive compounds, offering controlled release and improved drug delivery.
