Succinyl-Liposome refers to liposomes that have been modified with succinyl groups. The succinyl groups introduce carboxyl functional groups onto the surface of the liposome, providing sites for further modification or conjugation with targeting ligands, imaging agents, or therapeutic molecules. It can be loaded with imaging agents such as fluorescent dyes or contrast agents for imaging applications such as fluorescence imaging or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
