Description

Biotin-Liposome can be used for the delivery of nucleic acids, such as DNA or RNA, for gene therapy applications. By conjugating biotin to the liposome surface and attaching targeting ligands that bind to biotin receptors on target cells, gene delivery can be targeted to specific cell types, improving the efficiency and specificity of gene transfer. In addition, it can be utilized in biosensing applications for the detection of biomolecules or analytes. By conjugating biotin to the liposome surface and using avidin or streptavidin-linked detection molecules, such as enzymes or nanoparticles, biotin-liposomes can be employed in assays for the sensitive detection of target molecules.
