Description

NH2-PEG-COOtBu (Amine-PEG-tert-Butyl ester) can be used for modifying surfaces of nanoparticles, biomaterials, or other substrates. The amine group facilitates attachment, and the tert-butyl ester provides a strategy for controlled surface modification. The tert-butyl ester group can be incorporated into prodrugs, where the ester linkage serves as a cleavable bond.
