Description

TCO-PEG4-Fmoc-Gly-Gly-Gly is designed for use in solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) or bioconjugation reactions involving TCO-mediated click chemistry. After peptide synthesis, the Fmoc protecting group can be selectively removed, exposing the amino group of the Gly-Gly-Gly sequence for further conjugation with tetrazine-containing molecules via the TCO group. This bioorthogonal reaction enables the site-specific labeling or modification of peptides, proteins, or other biomolecules for various biomedical applications, including imaging, drug delivery, and diagnostics. The PEG4 spacer provides flexibility and hydrophilicity, reducing steric hindrance and enhancing the solubility and biocompatibility of the conjugates.
