Description

DBCO-PEG1-Acid is a bioconjugation reagent used in chemical biology and bioorthogonal chemistry applications. The DBCO moiety provides the capability for bioorthogonal reactions, particularly strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) with azide-functionalized molecules. The PEG spacer serves to increase the solubility and flexibility of the molecule, which can enhance its performance in various conjugation applications. The carboxylic acid functional group enables further conjugation strategies, such as coupling with amino groups using carbodiimide chemistry or other coupling methods.
