Description

Sulfo DBCO-PEG3-NHS ester can be used to label cell surface proteins containing primary amines. The labeled cells can be visualized using fluorescence microscopy or flow cytometry, allowing for the study of cell surface dynamics and interactions. Sulfo DBCO (sulfonated dibenzocyclooctyne) is a derivative of dibenzocyclooctyne modified with a sulfonate group. DBCO is known for its high reactivity with azides in bioorthogonal click chemistry. The addition of the sulfonate group enhances water solubility and biocompatibility, making sulfo DBCO suitable for aqueous biological applications.
