Description

DBCO-PEG-COOH (DBCO-PEG-acid, Dibenzocycolctyne-PEG-Acid, Dibenzocycolctyne-PEG-COOH, DBCO-PEG-carboxylic acid) is a bioorthogonal PEGylation reagent which is reactive with azide molecule via a strain promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC). DBCO-PEG-COOH is often used in conjunction with azide-functionalized molecules in bioorthogonal chemistry. This approach allows for selective and specific conjugation reactions in complex biological environments without interfering with native biochemical processes. It can also be used to label biomolecules, such as proteins, peptides, antibodies, or nucleic acids, with a DBCO functional group.
