Description

DBCO-PEG-COOH (DBCO-PEG-acid, Dibenzocycolctyne-PEG-Acid, Dibenzocycolctyne-PEG-COOH, DBCO-PEG-carboxylic acid) is a copper-free click chemistry reagent for bioorthogonal chemistry. DBCO moiety enables click chemistry with azide molecule via formation of a stable triazole bond. The carboxylic acid (-COOH) terminus can be used for coupling with amine in the presence of HATU or EDC to form a stable amide bond. DBCO-PEG-COOH can be incorporated into drug delivery systems, such as nanoparticles or liposomes, to enhance their stability and biocompatibility. It allows for the attachment of therapeutic agents to these carriers, enabling targeted drug delivery.
