Description

DBCO-PEG8-Triethoxysilane can be used in surface patterning techniques, such as microcontact printing or dip-pen nanolithography, to create well-defined patterns of biomolecules or other functional groups on surfaces. This enables the fabrication of complex surface architectures for applications in tissue engineering, cell biology, and bioelectronics. Additionally, the DBCO group enables bioconjugation through the SPAAC reaction with azide-functionalized biomolecules. This property makes it valuable for attaching proteins, peptides, antibodies, or other biomolecules to surfaces, nanoparticles, or other materials for various biomedical applications, including drug delivery, biosensing, and diagnostics.
