Cbz-N-amido-PEG15-amine is a modification of polyethylene glycol (PEG) terminated with an amide-linked carbobenzyloxy (Cbz) group at one end and a primary amine group at the other end, with a PEG chain containing 15 repeating ethylene glycol units. The amide-linked Cbz group can serve as a protected amine, which can be selectively deprotected under mild conditions for site-specific modification of peptides or proteins with PEG chains. This modification can improve the stability and pharmacokinetics of therapeutic peptides or proteins.
