PCL/PLA Electrospun Nanocomposite Fibers Comprising Silver Nanoparticles Encapsulated with Thymus Vulgaris L can be used to create scaffolds for wound healing, bone regeneration, or drug delivery systems, where the antimicrobial properties help prevent infections during the healing process. Electrospun nanocomposite fibers with antimicrobial properties and biocompatibility are promising candidates for biomedical scaffolds in tissue engineering applications. In addition, silver nanoparticles have inherent antimicrobial properties, and thyme extract also possesses antimicrobial and antibacterial properties.
