Rhodamine-PEG-Acid (RB-PEG-COOH, RhB-PEG-COOH) is a heterobifunctional PEG with a Rhodamine B fluorescein dye and a carboxylic acid endgroup. Rhodamine B has peak fluorescence emission at 572-575 nm. Polyethylene glycols (PEGs) are hydrophilic, non-toxic, non-immunogenic and non-antigenic polymers. They are widely used in a variety of biomedical applications such as bioconjugation, drug delivery, surface functionalization, and tissue engineering.
