Description

Bis-PEG4-NHS ester can be used to functionalize solid surfaces with PEG chains. The NHS ester reacts with primary amines present on the surface, resulting in the formation of covalent bonds between the surface and the PEG chains. Functionalized surfaces exhibit reduced nonspecific protein adsorption, improved biocompatibility, and enhanced resistance to fouling.
