Description

Dde Biotin-PEG4-Picolyl azide can be used to modify surfaces of materials such as nanoparticles, microarrays, or biosensors. The biotin group facilitates attachment to the surface, while the azide group allows for further functionalization via bioorthogonal chemistry. The Dde group acts as a protecting group for primary amines. It temporarily masks the amino group, preventing unwanted reactions, and can be selectively removed under mild conditions, allowing for further functionalization.
