Description

BCN-PEG3-VC-PFP Ester can be incorporated into drug delivery systems for targeted and controlled release of therapeutic agents. By conjugating BCN-containing molecules to drug carriers or targeting ligands, such as antibodies or peptides, BCN-PEG3-VC-PFP ester facilitates site-specific drug delivery and controlled release in response to external stimuli, such as light. Besides, the VC group in BCN-PEG3-VC-PFP ester can undergo photo-triggered reactions upon UV light exposure. This property can be utilized for controlled release of bioactive molecules, spatially controlled modification of biomolecules, or photo-crosslinking of biomolecular assemblies for structural studies.
