Description

Bis-(N,N’-carboxyl-PEG4)-Cy5 is used for labeling biomolecules, such as proteins or antibodies, for fluorescence imaging and detection purposes. The carboxylic acid groups in Bis-(N,N’-carboxyl-PEG4) can be activated for conjugation with amine-containing molecules using standard peptide coupling chemistry. Once conjugated to the biomolecule of interest, the Cy5 fluorophore enables visualization and detection of the labeled species using fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, or other fluorescence-based assays.
