CHO-PEG-EPO (Aldehyde-PEG-Epoxide, ALD-PEG-EPO) refers to a polyethylene glycol (PEG) derivative that contains both an aldehyde group and an epoxide group. The aldehyde group in Aldehyde-PEG-Epoxide can react with amino groups on proteins, enabling bioconjugation and modification of proteins. This functionalization is useful for the development of protein-based materials, immobilization on surfaces, or the creation of bioactive surfaces. The epoxide group can react with nucleophilic groups on proteins, enabling site-specific modification.
