Cy5-PEG-Biotin (Cyanine5-PEG-Biotin) is a compound that integrates a fluorescent dye (Cy5), a polyethylene glycol (PEG) linker, and a biotin molecule. Cy5 has excitation and emission wavelengths in the near-infrared (NIR) range, typically around 650-670 nm, which is advantageous for biological imaging due to reduced autofluorescence and deeper tissue penetration.
