Description

Boc-Lys(biotiny L)-OH is primarily used in solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) to incorporate biotin into peptides. During synthesis, the Boc protecting group prevents the amino group of lysine from reacting prematurely. After synthesis, the Boc group can be removed under mild acidic conditions to expose the free amino group of lysine for further bioconjugation or peptide assembly.
