Description

Biotin-labeled Agatolimod sodium refers to a specific conjugate where biotin, a vitamin essential for various metabolic processes, is attached to Agatolimod sodium (also known as CpG oligodeoxynucleotide 7909 or CpG ODN 7909). Agatolimod sodium is a synthetic oligodeoxynucleotide that contains unmethylated CpG motifs. These motifs are recognized by Toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9) on immune cells, particularly dendritic cells and B cells, leading to activation of the innate immune response and subsequent stimulation of adaptive immune responses. Biotin-labeled Agatolimod sodium can be used to specifically target immune cells expressing biotin receptors. This targeted delivery enhances the uptake of CpG ODN 7909 by immune cells, promoting immune activation and modulation.
