Biotin-11-EDA-m7GTP (Biotin-11-2’/3′-O-(2-aminoethyl-carbamoyl)-N7-methyl-guanosine-5′-triphosphate, Triethylammonium salt) is a modified guanosine triphosphate (GTP) that features a biotin label connected through an ethylene diamine (EDA) spacer. Biotin-11-EDA-m7GTP can be incorporated into RNA transcripts during in vitro transcription reactions using bacteriophage RNA polymerases. This allows for the generation of biotinylated RNA, which can be used for various downstream applications such as affinity purification and hybridization assays.
