Description

2′,3′-cGAMP-Biotin conjugate is a synthetic analog of the natural cyclic dinucleotide 2′,3′-cyclic GMP-AMP (cGAMP), which acts as a potent activator of the stimulator of interferon genes (STING) pathway. The biotinylated 2′,3′-cGAMP can be used to study the activation and downstream signaling mechanisms of the STING pathway. Researchers can trace and quantify the interaction of 2′,3′-cGAMP with STING using biotin-streptavidin detection systems. In enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) and Western blotting, the biotin tag allows for the detection and quantification of 2′,3′-cGAMP using streptavidin-HRP or streptavidin-alkaline phosphatase conjugates.
