Thiol-PEG-Thiol (HS-PEG-SH, SH-PEG-SH) is a homobifunctional PEG polymer with two terminal thiols. Conjugation of homobifunctional PEG to polyethylene glycol over linear PEG ensures increased drug loading. This homobifunctional PEG derivative can be used as a crosslinker for PEGylation of proteins and peptides, nanoparticles and surface modification.
