Histone H3K27Ac (21-44)-GK-biotin amide (trifluoroacetate salt) (ATKAAR-K(Ac)-SAPSTGGVKKPHRYRPGG-K(Biotin)-NH2) is a synthetic peptide that includes a segment of histone H3 with an acetylation modification at lysine 27, conjugated with a biotin tag. The biotinylated peptide can be used in ChIP assays to study the binding of acetylated histone H3K27 to specific DNA regions. This helps in mapping active gene promoters and enhancers. It can also be used in structural studies to elucidate the three-dimensional structure of acetylated histones and their interactions with other proteins or nucleic acids.
