Nα-Fmoc-Nε-biotinyl-L-lysine is a biotinylated lysine derivative with an Fmoc-protected Nα group and a biotinylated Nε group. The biotinylated lysine can be used to stabilize proteins or peptides for crystallization studies. The biotin tag can help in the formation of crystals by providing a means to attach the protein to a solid support. Biotinylated lysine can also be incorporated into peptide libraries to identify peptides with specific binding properties or functional activities. The biotin tag allows for easy capture and analysis of peptides from the library.
