Description

C8-Alkyne-dT incorporates an alkyne group (a triple-bonded carbon group) linked by an eight-carbon chain to the deoxythymidine base. The alkyne group in C8-Alkyne-dT is highly reactive in click chemistry reactions. It can react with azides in the presence of a copper catalyst to form a stable triazole ring. This is useful for labeling, conjugation, and cross-linking applications.
