Description

BODIPY-tetrazine (Boron-dipyrromethene (BODIPY)-Tz) is a conjugated compound combining BODIPY (Boron-Dipyrromethene) with a tetrazine moiety. BODIPY is a well-known fluorescent dye with excellent photostability, high fluorescence quantum yield, and good solubility. BODIPY-tetrazine can be used for fluorescence imaging in live cells or tissues. The BODIPY component provides strong fluorescence, while the tetrazine group can be used for specific labeling and tracking of biomolecules. In addition, the fluorescence of BODIPY-tetrazine can be utilized in chemical sensors to detect specific analytes. Changes in fluorescence upon interaction with target molecules can be used for quantitative measurements.
