Description

Tz-FITC (tetrazine-FITC) is designed for bioorthogonal labeling applications, enabling the selective and rapid attachment of the fluorescent probe to target biomolecules modified with trans-cyclooctene (TCO) or other strained alkenes. The FITC component provides strong fluorescence in the green region of the spectrum, making it ideal for various imaging techniques. FITC Moiety provides strong green fluorescence, making the probe highly visible under fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry. The FITC group is typically linked to biomolecules via its isothiocyanate functional group, which reacts with primary amines to form stable thiourea bonds.
