3,6-di-2-pyridyl-1,2,4,5-tetrazine (DPTZ) is a tetrazine derivative with two 2-pyridyl substituents at the 3 and 6 positions of the tetrazine ring. The pyridyl groups in DPTZ provide coordination sites for metal ions. DPTZ can be used as a ligand to form metal complexes or MOFs.
