Az-HPCS (Azide-hydroxypropyl chitosan) is a modified form of hydroxypropyl chitosan (HPCS) that incorporates azide groups. Hydroxypropyl Chitosan is a derivative of chitosan, which is a biopolymer obtained from chitin, a natural polymer found in the shells of crustaceans. Az-HPCS can be used to label antibodies or other proteins.
