Description

Azido-PEG3-OTs (N3-PEG3-OTs) is a compound that features a polyethylene glycol (PEG) chain with three ethylene glycol units, an azide group (N₃) at one end, and a tosyl group (OTs) at the other end. The azide functional group is highly reactive in bioorthogonal chemistry, particularly in azide-alkyne cycloaddition (click chemistry). It allows for selective conjugation with alkyne-functionalized molecules, making it useful for labeling, functionalization, and cross-linking applications. The tosyl group is a good leaving group in various chemical reactions.
